Shadowfell Priests

A group of shadow priests loyal to Orcus and the other dark denizens had recently found a way to open the rift at the ruins of The Keep on the Shadowfell. The old keep had been erected centuries earlier to guard over the sealed portal to the Shadowfell. Alas the paladin who guarded the keep died years ago and his followers left the keep. With this failure the ruins were taken over by wild animals and undead. The Orcus priests teamed up with a tribe of kobolds lead by Ironfang.

A group of adventurers killed Ironfang and penetrated the depths of the Keep on the Shadowfell killing Lord Caldaral. This ended the threat. The Dragonborn heroes Arjhen and Sora along with Pieter sealed the crypt and destroyed the entrances to hamper future followers of Orcus from using the keep.

On his way back to Tymanther, Arjhen stopped in Suzail and reported to the Purple Dragons what had transpired at the Keep on the Shadowfell in order for the protective orders of Cormyr to evaluate what other wards should be erected there.
