Wolf Sister

Requirements

To qualify to become a Wolf Sister, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.

Skills: Survival 8 ranks, Knowledge (nature) 8 ranks, Handle Animal 8 ranks Feats: Track Spells: Ability to cast summon nature's ally I Special: Wild Empathy, ability to assume the form of a wolf.

Class Skills

The Wolf Sister's class skills and the key ability for each are Climb (Str), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Handle Animal (Cha), Heal (Wis), Jump (Str), Knowledge (Nature) (Int), Notice (Wis), Spellcraft (Int), Survival (Wis), and Swim (Str)

Skill Points: 4 + Int modifier

Class Features

All of the following are class features of the Wolf Sister prestige class.

Wolf Form (Su): At first level, a wolf sister can shift into or out of any wolf form as a move action instead of a standard action. At second level, the wolf sister can choose to assume the form of a Dire Wolf. At third level, whenever she is in wolf form, the wolf sister gains the evasion special ability (as the rogue ability of the same name). This only applies while in wolf form, and not in any other form. If the wolf sister has the evasion ability from another class, her wolf sister levels stack for the purposes of determining when she would receive improved evasion. At fifth level, the wolf sister can shift into or out of any wolf form as a free action. At seventh level, the wolf sister can choose to apply the incorporeal template to any wolf form she assumes.

Spirit Walker (Ex): A wolf sister is naturally in tune with the spirit world. All of her natural attacks and armor are treated as though they have the ghost touch special ability.

Spirit Guardian (Su): At second level, a wolf sister gains a permanent spirit guardian. This spirit provides continual protection identical to the protection from evil spell. As a full-round action, the wolf sister can instruct her guardian spirit to protect another creature instead of herself. The protected creature gains the usual benefits until the wolf sister recalls the spirit (a free action).

Wild Shape (Su): A third level wolf sister gains the ability to wild shape, as the druid ability of the same name. If the wolf sister has the ability to wild shape from another class, she can add her wolf sister levels minus two to her effective druid level.

Recall Spirit (Su): At fourth level, the wolf sister's ties to the spirit realm make it possible for her to reclaim the souls of those recently deceased, before they are called to the afterlife. By touching the body of the dead creature within 1 round of the victim's death, the soul can be returned to the body without level loss, Constitution loss, or loss of powers.

Spirit Walk (Su): At sixth level, a wolf sister and her allies can assume spirit forms to travel quickly to distant locations. Once per day, the wolf sister can use an effect similar to wind walk, affecting up to one creature per wolf sister level. Affected creatures retain their normal land speed, but so long as they remain within sight of the wolf sister, they can travel up to 600 feet per round (60 mph). Unlike the spell, the creatures are unable to fly, but are also unaffected by terrain (even terrain that is normally impassable).

Phantom Pack (Su): At tenth level, a wolf sister can summon a phantom pack once per day as a standard action. She can choose between 10 normal wolves, or 5 dire wolves. All summoned wolves have the incorporeal template, and may appear anywhere she has line of effect. The wolves remain for 10 minutes before returning to the spirit plane. (Unlike most abilities, action points cannot buy additional uses of this ability in a give day.)
