Keep on the Shadowfell

Sora’s Second Log:

I had reservations about going to the keep after the letter from Kalarel we found with Irontooth. It’s seems logical for us to go there with all the history that Valthren told us about but I worried about Arjhen charging in knowing what evil lies beneath this keep. It used to be that I was the one who ran in with my short temper but this time Arjhen’s uncharacteristic charge cost him more pride than damage after he fell into a pit with rats. After that battle I was happy to see that when the goblins asked for quarter it was given even thou Tinverton seems to be enjoy his bloodlust a little too much.

Overall the keep hasn’t been too bad except for the unrelenting undead that swarmed us and nearly overwhelmed us. For each time we destroy one another two would appear and inflict further damage on us all. If it wasn’t for the prayer my dear brother was able to recite and end the threat, I fear we would have had another near death experience like the one we had against Irontooth. I hope we can rest awhile near this holy place although from the sounds of the letter we recovered I doubt we have much time to dwell here. We must either push onwards or retreat out of the keep. Knowing my brother and our company, we will most likely be pressing deeper into the depths.
