Scene #1 - Briefing
- Summoned to briefing room - blue holo of Hutt, Gil Davarth speaks to us: Sarlacc Project, transfers of large sum of money and loss of lives (casualty reports), Imp Navy was hiding the project from Senate, routed through Corp Sec and Underworld, Hutt Crime Lord Darga - city of Zarra
- go to Cato Neimoidia, find Darga, investigate the Sarlacc project
- small yellow-silver astro droid - Davarth is in alderaanian uniform
- Cpt O'Keefe at 0800 to depart
Scene #2 - Cato Neimodia and the Swoop Gang
- land on Cato Neimoidia - Federation's Folly cantina - Zarra is dilapidated and run down, most destroyed in the siege, nearly abandoned after the Clone Wars
- into cantina - Skarr orders Corellian Ale - bartender mentions that humans don't come here often, been months
- Daken claims we're mercenaries for hire, asks for info re:work
- Riet researches criminal activity - finds lots of information, but only a single off-hand reference on Darga, re:slave smuggling, but he was absolved
- loud humming noise of landspeeder engine outside - peek outside, find a swoop gang (8), not all grouped together - one patron heads outside, Daken follows and stares at the gang
- Valee sneaks outside, wanders down the street to flank the gangers
- Gangers start to escalate the confrontation
- Daken tries to intimidate the gangers - fails MISERABLY, mananges to make them laugh
- Dort asks the bartender to throw him outside - bartender declines - asks for 200 credits, makes a half-hearted attempt - Dort swears at the door, then crosses the street, pretending to be drunk
- Daken claims to know about Jedi, gangers close in, civilians run away - boss chick asks for info, threatens him - Daken lies his ass off, but they seem to buy it
- Daken mentions Darga - tries to wheedle some info - she doesn't seem too willing to part with info - says she saw us come from the spaceport
- Skarr pulls a grenade, readies to throw - hucks it into a bunch of gangers for 11
- Valee draws, sneaks into cover in a store
- Riet draws pistol
- Daken draws pistol, charges boss chick - misses
- Kyp shoots a ganger - takes him out
- Dort fights defensively
- gangers shoot at us ineffectively, others draw vibroblades
- Valee takes out a ganger
- Skarr shoots and misses
- Riet hides behind Skarr, shoots and misses
- Daken draws stun baton, misses with pistol shot
- Kyp shoots a ganger through window, but misses
- Dort charges ganger, misses badly

- Riet fixes up Valee and Dort
- chick (Kesra) mentions Darga runs the slave trade - used to be on his payroll, extortion racket
- Skarr gets physical - Darga has 8-10 safehouses, but doesn't know anyone else who works for him, has lots of guards and blast doors
- Devaronian Warik Raiden - worked with him for Darga, haven't been in touch in a while
- collect the bikes, Valee gives Kesra some money, Kyp mind tricks her to go home and rethink her life
Scene #3 - Seeking Darga the Hutt
- Daken, Dort, Valee - each take a bike, head to an address, scope out the safe houses
- Skarr, Kyp, Riet stay behind to search computers - Warik was arrested a month and a half ago in an Imperial building (address), physical characteristics, but no recent information
- Darga last known location and criminal record - charged several times (7-8) racketeering/extortion, charges have all been dropped
- Warik was looking for confidential records - references Darga as known associate and the one who bailed him out
- seekers see signs of fighting at one of the safe houses - most of them are abandoned or unoccupied - find one abandoned, get curious, barred door - call in help from the others
- Jedi activate UCTs - start carving a hole - I see a musty smell! :) small room, stumble over a decayed corpse Trandoshan, pillar in center of room, another Trandoshan corpse - been here for well over 6 months, possibly longer - probably killed through poisoning - was a droid factory about 5 years ago, sporadic log entries indicate Trandoshans were upset over poor treatment, possibly leading to a revolt - searching the area yields no results
- go to recently vacated safe house - loading dock seems moderately insecure - head to front door panel, Riet hacks in, opens front door
- room beyond is illuminated, reception desk, smell of food cooking - Riet hacks reception computer, finds some information, probably a safe house, speeder repair bay/factory, imports and exports, no record of him living/working here - dig deeper, find information on a new safe house location not on prior list, about month and a half old - relocated due to severe structural damage
- Skarr et al find Crit, Neimoidian manager of the factory, he's making dinner
- Valee makes friends, digs for information - doesn't find much useful - mind trick him to forget we were here
Scene #4 - Finding Warik Raiden
- travel to far end of town, many warehouses, two excavation droids sifting rubble - very beat up, lots of battle damage - half-buried landspeeder under rubble
- ambush - lots of thugs hiding behind crates
- Skarr rides around a corner - shoots/misses
- Thugs shoot at Skarr, miss
- droids turn to attack, miss Daken
- Valee misses
- Riet assists Daken's attack
- Daken rams droid, drives over him
- Dort flies to support Skarr
- Skarr drops a thug
- thugs attack Skarr, miss
- droid attacks Kyp - hits with plasma cutter - deals 9 damage
- droid climbs wall, leaps on Daken - misses
- Kyp draws lightsaber, strikes droid
- Valee shoots droid, misses
- Riet assists Kyp with suppress fire
- Daken draws pistol, shoots droid - misses
- Dort dismounts, readies to attack
- Skarr shoots thug - misses - draws grenade
- thugs shoot at Skarr, miss
- droid attacks Daken w/circular saw - critical hit (26) drops him to the ground
- Dort moves in to attack, steps in rubble - nearly gets his head taken off by a Devaronian - fights defensively
- Skarr takes out a pair of thugs with a grenade
- droid attacks Riet w/plasma cutter, misses
- thugs shoot at Skarr - crit - 22 damage
- Kyp charges droid, misses
- Valee jumps through the wall
- Riet dismounts, misses droid
- Daken nearly dies, spends FP
- Devaronian feints on Skarr, leaves him flat-footed
- Dort charges thug - hits for 7
- thugs counterattack Dort, but he eludes them with ease
- droid attacks Riet, misses
- thugs attack Valee, one misses, second crits - deals 16
- Kyp leaps on droid, slices him in half
- Valee attacks thug - hits for 14, drops him, takes cover
- Riet fixes Daken, but he's still badly hurt, Daken drives away
- Devaronian attacks Skarr, misses
- Dort attacks thug, misses
- Skarr, recovers, shoots thug - hits for 19, drops him
- thug shoots Valee, misses

- Kyp moves into guard, Force Blasts him into the wall
- Valee moves to Riet for healing - Riet heals him for 13

- Valee moves to wall, close to Devaronian - shoots thru wall, reflects off rocks

- Riet moves thru wall, aids Skarr against Warik
- Warik shoots Valee, misses
- Dort moves to engage Warik

- Daken is hurt and -5 on the condition track (persistent), still needs surgery to recover from his near death experience.
