To qualify to become a Mentalist Mimic, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.

Skills: Disguise 8 ranks
Feats: Persona Immersion
Special: Ability to manifest Read Thoughts

The Mimic's class skills and the key ability for each are Autohypnosis (Wis), Bluff (Cha), Disguise (Cha), Diplomacy (Cha), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (psionics) (Int), Psicraft (Int), and Sense Motive (Wis)

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the Mentalist Mimic prestige class.
Read Thoughts (Sp): Beginning at first level, a Mimic can manifest read thoughts 2/day at no power point cost. This increases to 4 times per day at 3rd level. At 5th level, you can manifest read thoughts at will.
Mental mastery: At second level, the Mimic adds the powers Conceal Thoughts, Empathy, Telempathic Projection and Distract to his power list.
Change Shape (Su): At 4th level, you gain the ability to assume the shape of any Small or Medium humanoid, gaining the size, natural weapons, movement modes, and extraordinary special attacks of your new form and losing any such abilities granted by your native form. You can remain in this humanoid form until you choose to assume a new one.
A change in form cannot be dispelled, but you revert to your natural form if you are killed. A true seeing spell or similiar ability reveals your natural form. See page 306 of the Monster Manual for more information on the change shape ability.
Using this ability is a standard action. If you have the Quick Change feat (Races of Eberron, page 110), you can change shape as a move action.
Assuming the Role (Sp): At 5th level, you can use the trade places with any creature once per day. This ability works like the Dimension Swap power, except that it can be used on unwilling targets. If the target fails a Will Save (DC 12 + 1/2 your manifester level + your manifester ability modifier), you and the target trade places, while you simultaneously assume the target's form using your Change Shape ability. All of your equipment and clothing is altered to match that of the target, and you gain a +10 insight bonus to any Disguise or Bluff checks to assume the identity of the target. The insight bonus fades over the course of an hour, but you retain the physical elements of the disguise until you use your Change Shape ability to assume a different form.
