The Meditant
A meditant has discovered the wondrous powers that can be released when mind and body become one. While exploring the inner depths of solitude that meditation provides, the meditant finds an inner peace and harmony that few will ever experience or understand. Over time, meditants become masters of meditation and easily awaken their chakras to manipulate the psionic forces buried deep within. Meditants possess a strong belief that by preparing their minds, the scales of chance will tip in their favor.

Requirements
To qualify as a meditant, a character must meet the following criteria.
Skill: Concentration 8 ranks.
Feats: Focused Meditation, Greater Focused Meditation (3 times)
Psionics: Manifester level 5th.
Alignment: Any lawful.
Class Skills
The meditant's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Autohypnosis (Wis), Concentration (Con), Diplomacy (Cha), Knowledge (any) (Int), Profession (any) (Wis), Psicraft (Int), and Sense Motive (Wis).
Skill Points: 2 + Int modifier.
Class Features
All the following are class features of the meditant prestige class.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Meditants gain no proficiency with any weapons or armor.
Powers Known: At each level, with the exception of 1st and 10th level, a meditant gains additional power points per day and access to new powers as if she had also gained a level in whatever manifesting class she belonged to before she added the prestige class. She does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained (bonus feats, metapsionic or item creation feats, psicrystal special abilities, and so on). This essentially means that she adds the level of meditant to the level of whatever manifesting class the character has, then determines power points per day, powers known, and manifester level accordingly.
If a character had more than one manifesting class before she became a meditant, she must decide to which class she adds the new level of meditant for the purpose of determining power points per day, powers known, and manifester level.
Meldshaping: The Meditant gains access to Incarnum as her connection to her chakra allows her to draw on the energies flowing through the world which flow focused through her chakras. The meditant has the ability to shape a small number of soulmelds. At 6th level, you can shape one meld at the beginning of each day, and at 10th level, you can shape up to two per day. The maximum number of soulmelds that you can have shaped simultaneously equals your Constitution score minus 10. The meditant selects her souldmelds from the Incarnate class list, but can only choose soulmelds without an alignment descriptor. If a soulmeld refers to an alignment, the meditant counts as Lawful. Her meldshaper level for these soulmelds equals her meditant level, and the save DC (if applicable) is 10 + invested essentia + her Con modifier. This ability otherwise follows the normal rules for meldshaping.
Inner Peace: Through much practice, the meditant has learned how to more quickly bring herself to inner peace. At 1st level you substitute sleeping by meditating for 8 hours and still regain your power points. Meditating instead of sleeping means sha can meditate in armor, can make Listen checks without penalties and still get the rest the body needs. At 4th level she only need to meditate for 4 hours to achieve the same effect. At 7th level she does not require food or drink for 24 hours after meditating. At 10th level she only needs to meditate for 2 hours to achieve the same effects.
Deep Meditation: The meditants extensive training and experience with psionic meditation allows her to activate her chakras more often. She gains 3 additional activations per day each time this class ability is gained.
Strength of the Mind: Having continously activated her awakened chakras has suffused her mind with their power, thus making it easier for the meditant to retain them for longer. At 3rd level and every three levels after that, each activation of a chakra lasts one hour longer (2 hours at 3rd lvl, 3 hours at 6th lvl and 4 hours at 9th lvl).
Chakras: As you attain higher levels, you can bind you psionically awakened chakras (just like binding them to a magic item or soulmeld), gaining new powers based on the combination chosen. You open your chakras according to the character progression table.
Awakened Chakra Binds: Opening an chakra while psionically awakening them allows the meditant to perform chakra binds, binding latent psionic energy awakened through meditation into one of the ten chakra. The following effects are opened to a meditant with an awakened chakra bind (note that binding a chakra this way prevents you from using a magic item at the corresponding body slot or binding soulmelds to it) above and beyond the benefits of activation.
- Crown: The meditant gains a +4 insight bonus to Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma.
- Feet: The meditant can slip psionically between spaces as if using the psionic dimension door power, once per day. The meditant cannot bring any other creatures with her. Her manifester level for this effect is equal to her meditant level. She also gains "Dimension Door, Psionic" as a power on her list of powers known.
- Hands: The meditant gains the Improved Unarmed Strike feat and gain the smite power, the supernatural ability to make a single melee attack with a +4 bonus on attack rolls and a bonus on damage rolls equal to her meditant level (if you hit). You must declare the smite before making the attack and expend focus to use it.
- Arms: The meditants awakened arms chakra allow her to redirect the force of blows, making her harder to harm. She gains a +5 bonus to Natural Armor.
- Brow: The meditant can now perceive auras, gaining the effects of the Aura Sight power.
- Shoulders: The meditant gains a +5 morale bonus to one save and +3 morale bonuses to the other two.
- Throat: The meditant gains Power Resistance 15+ character level.
- Waist: The meditant gains a +4 insight bonus to Strength, Dexterity and Constitution.
- Heart: The meditants powers get a +2 insight bonus to DC and a +1 insight bonus to manifester level.
- Soul: The meditant gains Fast Healing 5
Inner Harmony (Su): The meditant connection to all her ten chakra intensifies and activating a chakra may now be done as a swift action. Using this ability does not provoke an attack of opportunity and it counts as the character's one swift action per round. She can also unbind and rebind any awakened chakra binds as a full-round action that provokes an attack of opportunity.
