Brandish Magical Might
You can use your magical power in new ways.
Prerequisite: Spellcaster level 3rd+, One of the following: Charisma 17+, Intelligence 17+, Wisdom 17+.
Benefit: A character may use her knowledge of magic and the power inherent within her to accomplish taks with a caster power check, such as force open a Wizard Locked door or counter a spell.
To counter a spell, the character must ready an action. When someone else casts a spell within sight, the character makes an oppoed caster power check. If she succeeds, she counters the spell, ruining it, and the countered caster loses the spell slot. If the character fails the power check, resolve the spell normally. A character cannot counter a spell she could not normally learn. Countering a spell does not cost the character any spell slots of her own.
When overcoming a creature's spell resistance, the character makes a caster power check rather than the normal caster level check. (In a caster power check, a character gets to add her spellcasting ability score modifier to the roll, as well as her level.)
Dodge [General]
Prerequisite: Dex 13+
Benefit: You gain a +1 dodge bonus to your Armor Class. You can choose to forego this benefit and designate a single opponent, against whom you gain a +2 dodge bonus to your Armor Class. This feat description supercedes the one in the PHB.
Greater Bloodline [General]
You embrace and enhance your non-mortal heritage.
Prerequisites: Sorcerer level 3rd, Intermediate Bloodline
Benefit: Your bloodline increases from the Intermediate level to the Major level. This is retroactive, and grants all Major Bloodline abilities normally available to a character of your level.
Improved Modify Spell [Metamagic]
You can modify your spells to achieve special effects.
Prerequisites: Modify Spell
Benefit: You can choose any of the following effects to apply to your spells at the listed cost:
- Double Area: +3 spell levels
- Empower Spell: +2 spell levels
- Maximize Spell: +3 spell levels
Modify Spell [Metamagic]
You can modify your spells to achieve special effects.
Benefit: You can choose any of the following effects to apply to your spells at the listed cost:
- Double Range: +1 spell level
- Double Duration: +1 spell level
- Silent Spell: +1 spell level
- Still Spell: +1 spell level
- Eschew Materials: +0 spell levels (only for components with less than 1gp cost)
This feat (and the related feats) supercede the standard metamagic feats.
Quicken Spell [Metamagic]
You can cast spells exceptionally fast.
Prerequisites: Modify Spell
Benefit: Casting a quickened spell is a swift action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity. You are limited to only one swift action per round. Spells with a casting time longer than one standard action cannot be quickened. The quickened spell uses a slot four levels higher than the regular spell.
Signature Spell
You possess a special talent for one particular spell and can cast it better than anyone else.
Prerequisite: Character level 1st only
Benefit: The character picks one spell, not necessarily one she can cast right now (although she gains no benefits from this talent until she reaches a level high enough to cast it). The character always casts that spell as if two levels higher than normal with up to double the range. If the spell has a saving throw, its Difficulty Class increases by +1. If it is subject to Spell Resistance, the caster gets a +2 bonus on her caster level checks to defeat SR.
Signature Power
You possess a special talent for one particular power and can manifest it better than anyone else.
Prerequisites: Character level 1st (Manifester) only
Benefit: The character picks one power, not necessarily one he can manifest right now (although he gains no benefits from this feat until he reaches a level high enough to manifest it). The character gains an automatic 2 levels of augmentation on that power at no cost, and all effects are calculated as if the manifester level were two levels higher than normal, with double the range. If the spell has a saving throw, its DC increases by +1, and if it is subject to Power Resistance, the caster gets a +2 bonus on his manifester level checks to defeat PR.
Skill Emphasis [General]
Choose any feat that normally grants +2 bonus to two skills. These rules override the normal rules.
Benefit:You treat the listed skills provided by the feat as class skills. These skills are always considered class skills for you. If either of the skills is normally a class skill for any of your classes, you gain a +2 bonus on that skill.
Special: This feat may only be selected at first level. Fighters may select this feat as a bonus fighter feat.
